TMD Racing Custom Adjustable Upper Control Arms TMD KCA000
Racing mandates the ability to make fast, precise suspension adjustments at the race track.
Unfortunately, when we looked for for adjustable upper control arms for our Miata, none were to
be found. That's why we made our own. These gorgeous control arms combine beauty with
rugged durability and precision adjustment.
Our TMD Racing front control arms are precision-engineered from quality steel and feature
light weight and high-quality Heim Joints. They are brightly painted to look good under pressure.
The rear control arms are contstructed from aluminum and are anodized so they look great too.
The front control arm uses (but does not include) the stock Miata ball joint. As you may be
aware, this ball joint it not available for individual sale. It can be pressed out of the
stock control arm and pressed into this control arm. We hope to offer a replacement ball
joint in the very near future.
The rear control arms require a rather simple modification of the subframe for installation.
Since a single bolt is used between the two stock pickup points, the pickup point must be
drilled straight through to accept the bolt.

Q&A:
Which end does your miata rear upper control arm come with, the rod-end or the bulkier
end that is shown in the install pictures? And: I assume you have had no issues only
using the one pickup point off the subframe as opposed to the stock 2?
The picture of the EPMiata adjustable upper-rear control arm is the first one shown below,
against the white background. It comes with exactly what you see in the picture above,
plus hardware. The picture immediately below that shows this control arm as it is installed
on the EPMiata.
As you see, it does use both pickup points, however, it requires the
installer to make one modification with is to drill through the pickup
points so that the heim joint can be installed between the two using a single bolt
(included in the kit.) This is as opposed to the stock upper control arm which uses
fits around theoutside of the pickup points and mounts with two separate bolts into the
subframe.
Do these control arms fit mazda eunos?
To be honest, until I got your email I'd never heard of the Eunos brand. I did some research and it
seems that Mazda sells the MX-5 as a Eunos Roadster. That would seem to imply that they reuse most
of the same parts, which would further suggest that the control arms might fit. However, I can not
say definitively. I would be glad to further research this but since the Eunos is not available here
I really don't have a way to get further information. Maybe someone else can write in and enlighten us.
