Perma-Cool Oil Filter Sandwich Adapter PMC 186

If you're going to run an oil cooler you need a way to get oil to and from it. We use the PermaCool 186 Oil Filter Sandwich Adapter on our EPMiata.Com race car. This fits against the block where the oil filter is placed and gives you and outlet and inlet for the oil cooler coils. The adapter features 3/8" Female NPT ports. AN-style or hose barb fittings are available separately

If you have the stock cooling lines running to the oil cooler plate that mounts to the base stock oil filter location it is necessary to remove those coolant lines, remove the cooler plate and the extended nipple. Re-use the extended nipple after cutting it to length. The PermaCool 186 Sandwhich Adapter will screw into place just like an oil filter, and then your oil filter on top of that.
