Some folks are surprised that we run a FelPro head gasket and not a copper or some race brand gasket. Well, we've run them all and there is no doubt that they are good. Even critical if you're running an over-the-top turbo engine or a multi-stage nitrous system. But they cost a lot more money too. That money is well spent in the case of a reusable copper head gasket if you plan frequent rebuilds. But you have to O-Ring the block or else buy one with the O-ring built in. That's even more money.

So, if you're planning on rebuilding your motor a few times a season then you might want to consider copper.
