Fidanza Lightweight Aluminum Flywheel

This Fidanza aluminum flywheel is made from 6061 T6 aluminum. Besides the huge drop in weight (an amazing 8 pounds) this gives a nice improvement in heat disipation, which is vital to clutch longevity. The flywheel friction plates are milled from 1045 steel and mate with any type of clutch material. Fidanza uses replaceable friction plates made from 1045 steel, so there is no need to replace the entire flywheel when the clutch or flywheel is at the end of it's life, saving time and money. The ring gearsare also made from 1050 steel and are heat treated for durability.

Note to 89-93 Miata Owners! This flywheel will fit your crankshaft and transmission bellhousing, but you will have to upgrade to the 94-05 clutch. We recommend the Competition Clutch 10045-1620-05 Stage 4 Clutch Kit.
